Additional Study Information

I am Dr. Adam Doupé, an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering at Arizona State University. I am conducting a research study to collect attack data from archive.ooo that is funded by the Department of Defense.

Your participation in this study is voluntary, and you must be 18 or older to participate in the study. If you choose not to participate there will be no penalty.

You have the right to stop participation at any time by stopping to interact with the vulnerable system.

There are no foreseeable risks or discomforts to your participation.

If you participate in this study, then your activities, including packets you crafted and sent to server(s), and duration of your activities against a specific host, will be collected. Once your session is over, all IP addresses will be removed from the network traffic, and all data will be investigated for PII before being released to the public.
